As well as creating components step-by-step using the Component Wizard, you can also create Components manually.

1. From within the Library Manager (on the File menu), select the components tab.
2. Choose the library to add the new component to. Create a new library if the one you need doesn't exist (use the New Library button).
3. Click the New Item button.
4. Use the New Component dialog to add Schematic Symbols and PCB Footprints to the Component definition.
