Hello, I have been using the demo version of Easy PC at home, but since nothing can be saved, its extremely limited. It doesnt seem possible to become proficient at Easy PC whilst practicing on the demo version.

Technology files cant be saved, nor library parts, etc etc. As such, is there a way that i can use the work copy of Easy PC when at home?.....this copy is completely unused when we are out of the workplace. Can i somehow put a licence number into the demo version and turn it into the full version when on my home laptop? Is this even allowed?

This is interesting. Obviously the licence is there to make sure the software isn't 'pirated' but despite what the small print actually says, it's applied in very much the same way as the old Borland (that's going back a bit!) 'like a book' licence. The gist of that was that you could install the software as many times and in as many places as you needed to, but it could only be used 'like a book', i.e. in much the same way as only one person can read a book at a time, only one copy of the software may be used at any time.

Looked at like that, it's perfectly OK to have copies at home and the office, as you clearly can't be in two places at once, as long as the office copy is for your personal use.

It also means that if you have two computers in use, you can have copies on both - as clearly you can't work on both simultaneously! (even if you're jumping from one to the other...)

I have the same EasyPC loaded on both my "Work" PC and my "Backup" PC. Both Installations are only used by myself and NOT used "simultaneously".

I used the same Installation Code on both machines.

I’m pretty sure you can register the program on two separate p.c.’s
Simultaneously.
