Hi,
I'm new to EasyPC, using V15, hoping someone can assist with the following.
I need to increase the clearance between a copper pour area and the pins of a specific connector, and cant see how to do this.
I have mains voltage on the connector in question, and have copper pour areas that go underneath the connector on inner layers and I need to increase the clearance from the copper pour area to the pins of the connector. Does anyone know how to do this?
Hope that makes sense, thanks in advance for any replies.

Once you select items simply right click and the group command is in the menu that pops up !

... and in case you're wondering how to do that, there's NO menu option for grouping and ungrouping objects. You have to set up shortcut keys. To be consistent with graphics programs I use CTRL+G for grouping and SHIFT+CTRL+G for ungrouping.
From the main menu:
Go to: Settings->Customise->Keyboard.
Select "Group" in the "Commands" pull-down list.
Click in the "Press New Shortcut" box and press the key combination you want to use.
Repeat for the "Ungroup" command.

On John's #1 solution you can make the pads and keepouts as a group, in which case moving is not a problem as they would then move together.

Two quick ways to fix this:
1. Create a copper pour keepout area under the pads.
2. Split the copper pour so that there is a small area around the pad with different properties. Link the new area to the same net as the main copper pour area.
#1 is very quick but can be a bit tedious if you move the pad as you have to also move the keepout areas appropriately.

You need to go to your spacings tab (Under Design Technology) and in the grid setup the clearance you want in the Shape/Pads box in the matrix. There are other ways of doing it you could add a "Guard" spacing on the particular nets (under the nets tab) and you can also use the "Net Match" feature if you only want to apply specific spacings to specific layers/nets, but I am not sure if this is available in V15.
