When highlighting a net thats on the top layer it obviously shows the net connection in blue but when routing and changing layer by via that highlightt is not shown and every pad is shown in grey.
Is there a way for the hightlight to still show on the pad ?

Thanks AndyB for sharing this one.
I didn't realise that I had an issue until you pointed this out.
It's a lot better with "All In Same Colour" unticked!

Peter has pointed out the setting that needs to be changed.
Settings/Preferences/Display/Drawing
untick "All In Same Colour"

Ok I think I need to add a bit more info for this.

Two layers with surface mounted components.
Highlighting only highlights net pads when routing on the layer the net resides.
When routing on the opposite layer the top layer becomes grey.
Could we have the top layer pads of the highlighted net shown in a chosen colour to make it easier to navigate.
