Hi. Is there a way to search for components that use a given footprint ?
Or, as a quick fix for myself, Component that uses QSOP16 footprint / package ?
Thanks

Thanks. I need to check the 'Find Components using Each Symbol' option then I got the results. Cheers.

...or go to Libraries, Components, click Find, then use the controls on the Find dialog to search the component libraries. For example "PCB Symbol contains QSOP16", or "terminals/pads = 2 and PCB symbol contains SOP".

When the results appear, clicking on each one brings it into view in the library manager dialog underneath. Same Find is available in Add Component, so if you can only remember that the component you need uses TSSOP24 then you can search by that footprint name instead of hunting around.

Select the footprint in Library Manager and click on the Report... button. Choose 'Only selected items' for 'Items to include' and you should get what you want.
