It seems that the new Dynamic Align feature in V21 can cause issues if it is enabled at the same time as 'Nudge'.

Nudge allows you to move components and other items using the keyboard arrow keys. When Dynamic Align is enabled, depending on various factors including your grid snap settings, this can result in the attempt to Nudge items just causing them to wobble around their current location.

Note also that Dynamic Align is enabled by default in this new release, so you may find that moving items even with the mouse does not behave in quite the same way as you expected from previous releases.

The solution to both of these is to turn off Dynamic Align. To do this, go to Settings, Preferences, PCB Interaction, and uncheck the box for Dynamic Align.

We are also working on a fix for the first patch to make sure that Dynamic Align does not try to affect the item position if Nudge is also enabled.

David.
