Hi,
I have a group of 8 resistors to change from axial to Surface mount.

I tried using the 'replace components' command from the tools menu, however it closes the project when I do this.

The dialog box that's shown in the help screen doesn't appear. The program seems to close and re open at the start page.

Running v22.0.3 in W10 64 bit Home edition.
Computer is an i5 8600K with 16GB of RAM.

Thanks!

Gordon

Hi, I've just tried replicating your issue. (Win7/64 Pro, V22.0.3).

I've grouped together (pcb) 4 axial resistors. With only the first resistor selected, I can successfully replace it (Tools=> Replace components) with a 0805 resistor, but only the selected resistor is updated,-not all resistors in the Group. But no unexpected action. With all 4 resistors selected, all 4 are successfully replaced.

As an experiment, have you tried replacing the Component by selecting Properties, Component and Change instead?
