We've had a single instance reported of slow screen refresh with a high specification machine which was resolved by a very unusual route.

The drive carrying the program was plugged into a SATA3 port. When this drive was transferred to a SATA2 port, normal refresh performance followed.

This problem may be an isolated instance, but there have also been some other reports of slow refresh with other high performance machines recently, so there's a possibility that this is a generic issue.

Would any users who believe that they are also being affected in this way please let the support desk know, or post here giving details. Thank you.
