We've just discovered that the 4017 supplied with Easy-Spice and Pulsonix Spice has the wrong polarity on the carry output.
This has been fixed. If you download the file at

http://www.numberone.com/downloads/updates/libraries/4017.ldf

then replace the existing file under Easy(Pulsonix)-Spice in the tree support/models/digital/, the model will thereafter behave correctly.
