I am having an issue with copper pour in V20.0.1. My PCB has a small circular cut out in it which has a 10mm diameter which is roughly central to the board which is 140mm wide.
When I pour copper there is a 1.27mm gap in the pour on every layer that goes horizontally across the PCB right through the middle of the cutout. The shape to shape spacing is 1.2 so it seems the pour is for some reason creating 2 shapes and spiting them across the cutout.
I remove the cut out and it is fine I move the cutout and the break moves with it so fairly sure it is caused by the board cutout and I dont know what else to try.
If you have a 10mm diameter hole/pcb outline shape (small circular cutout?) in your pcb then the pour copper feature also looks for Shape to edge of Board as well as Shapes to Shapes. (Settings=>Design Tech=>Spacings). You might have an internal "edge" in your pcb. (Sorry, I'm not sure I fully understand your post).
I tried to reproduce this .... I notice you said you were using "cutout" for the hole. Strangely I cannot get create a cutout at all !!! ... that seems like a bug in itself. However I never use cutouts and never seen this problem. However I tried it by using a board outline for the hole and that seems fine. Maybe try that ?
Iain P.S. Ok now see how cutout works .... you have to pre-select the area ... so tried but seems to work ok also !
So what happens if your pour first, then subsequently add the cutout? Presumably all OK?
I have experienced a similar issue with flood fill in the distant past (not because of a hole) and had to get Tech Support to investigate. It was because of a "singularity" in the design, stopping the flood fill operate as it should.
