I have accidentally created a net in the schematic and now it is not connected to any components. Running the DRC I get the following ...

Error : Net '+3V4' is empty

I want to delete this net..

I have searched round the forum and the help but cant find a way to do this.

(I can find a way to list them all ... in View->display ... where it wont allow a delete ... but View->Goto and View->Highlight Net doesn't even display the empty net)

I am using V 15.0.7

try
settings- design technology

select nets tab

this will display all user nets by default

select show auto-named nets to display all nets

if you have a x in the left hand box it cannot be deleted since it is used, otherwise select and delete.

you can also select delete all unused

Tom

if the net has a x in the right hand column then it is been used and it cannot be deleted, from this window

Another way to see all the nets is as follows

View: Dockable bars :nets

if you right click in window you have varrious options
check that view default nets has a tick net to it.

easyPC will now display all the nets it thinks are connected

If your net is here you should be able to goto to the net and delete it.

also a possibility

select the pin your net is connected to and

right click
disconnect from net, move the component pin away, if a net is present however small you shoul now be able to select and delete.

If you still cannot select the net it may need a call Number one systems to solve this.

Rob,
thanks for reply. Basically I had opened the wrong menu.

You are correct...

When I open Settings->Design Technology-> Nets (tab)

I can see all the named nets and delete any I want.

Issue now resolved ... Thanks

Tom
