Apply Layout Pattern still doesn't seem to work properly ! V20.0.2)

When used it only copies the tracks I have on the top later and not the ones on the bottom !

Anybody else seen this .... or has a solution ?

Hi Iain,

I have seen something similar. It used to work quite well but lately I have found it necessary to use smaller blocks for it to work correctly.

I often find that while it recreates the same layout pattern it frequently swaps components within the applied pattern.

The swapping is understandable where components are effectively in parallel. e.g de-coupling caps can become mixed up but thats acceptable.

I have Numberone looking at the problem and they will no doubt report back to me either way.

Swapping of parallel components I can live with, but it is more often a component from another part of the circuit. The netlist remains correct but the same routing cannot be applied as the relative component positions no longer match.

I have confidence that Numberone will fix it.
