V23.0 crashes when I try to open the "Design Calculators". I tried running as administrator and I get the same thing.

A small number of users have reported this over the last few weeks. We've been unable to reproduce it on any machine, but the programming team have attempted to produce a pre-emptive fix. This was completed yesterday, and sent to those users who had reported the problem.

So far all feedback is that it is successfully preventing the crash.

This will be incorporated into V23.0.1 when it's released, but in the meantime, it can be downloaded from Dropbox. You MUST be using V23.0, and the program must be closed. Extract the files from the downloaded zip into your Easy-PC program folder allowing the existing files to be replaced. The default path for this is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Number One Systems\Easy-PC, but this can be customised during installation, so it may be different.

The download link is:

Hi,
Running V23 on a Linux machine using Play On Linux and v4.10 staging, and no issues.

Regards,
Shadders.

God did not check the forum first before ordering and installing EasyPC.
Should really ....

I have just purchased V23 and it crashes in the same way.

Why has the new supplied download not been patched?
Why is there no patch on the downloads section of the site yet?

Really it's been over a week this issue has been pointed out.

For all that have Windows 10 the link Peter used is I guess for Windows 7.
My installation was in the User Appdata area.

You will need to change the folder view to allow you to see this folder.

Just place your user name in the "YourName" of the path below.

C:/Users/YourName/AppData/Roaming/Number One Systems/Easy-PC

You will be able to dump the files here.

V23.0.1 has now been released. The patch is on the website and includes this fix. Please note that as a result the link above will no longer be active.

I'm also experiencing a complete slow down/not responding when zooming in then trying to measure.
No grid is being used.
I can eventually escape out of the loop of not responding but cannot measure.

This sounds unrelated to the original problem. It may be specific to your installation. It's possible for our support desk to check this by looking at the support file generated from the [Report] button under [Help], [Support], [Support Info], but it's also possible that the problem lies with a damaged design. Have you checked other designs to see if the problem is universal, or limited to a specific design?
