It's often the case that logos need to imported using DXF so they're in vector format for plotting.  It's a common problem for there to be hollow characters such as a, b, d, g, o, p, q or r (capital).  The difficulty here is that filling the outer shape will default to also flooding over the inner one (see images below).

The solution is surprisingly easy.  Select both shapes, using for the first and for the second.  Right click and use [Make Cutouts] from the menu.  The inner shape will now be a cutout within the outer, so when the outer is filled, it remains clear.
